Coleman Engineering provided design and construction engineering of an effluent diversion structure at the City of Brentwood WWTP. The City was concerned that treated water would continue to be discharged for up to 2 hours after a high turbidity alarm had been activated. The purpose of this project was to provide a means of immediately diverting treated effluent to the storage ponds upon the activation of the high turbidity alarm. The diversion box was designed to accommodate a wide range of flows and to be expandable in the future.
