Coleman Engineering provided design and construction engineering services for an interim sewer lift station to serve early stage development at the River Islands in Lathrop, CA.
In order to reduce capital costs, a deep manhole and upstream 36-inch gravity pipe was used as the wet well. An automated connection to the recycled water system was designed to provide flushing flows in the large diameter gravity pipe as well as flushing velocities in the force main. Both the lift station and recycled water connection were tied to the existing City SCADA system.
